Allama Amjad Jauhari belongs to a distinguished religious family. The "Khandan-e-Jauhar" has produced many Scholars, Ulema's and Hukma's. Allama Amjad Jauhari is the son of renowned Islamic Scholar & Mufassir-e-Quran Allama Talib Jauhri, who is widely respected among all the Islamic Sects as Da'i-e-Ittihad bain al Muslemeen. Allama Talib Jauhari has been addressing Majalis-e-Sham-e-Ghareeban on different Pakistani television Channels i.e. PTV, GEO since 1990 and is famous for his Fehm ul Quran Series which was the most popular Quranic Teachings program in PTV. He has authored many books on topics like Tafseer, Maqtal, Falsafah-o-Mantiq, Poetry and ilm al-Kalam. Due to his noble services of spreading Islamic teachings, Government of Pakistan awarded Allama Talib Jauhri with Sitara-i-Imtiaz.
Allama Amjad Jauhari is the Grand Son of Maulana Muhammad Mustafa Jauhar. Maulana Jauhar was a Learned Islamic Scholar, Philosopher and Poet who totally dedicated himself for seeking knowledge and spreading the teachings of Muhammad-o-Ahl al-Bayt-e-Muhammad (s.a.w.w). He wrote many books on Falsafah i.e. "Tawheed o Adal Nahj al-Balagha ki roshni mein", "Saboot-e-Khuda" and on Fiqh i.e. "Aqaid-e-Jaafria" & "Asool-e-Jaafria" and "Deewan-e-Mehrab", which is his poetic work.
Famous Alim-e-deen Maulana Hakeem Muhammad Muslim was the Great Grand Father of Allama Amjad Jauhari who vowed to His excellence in Fiqh, Usul and other Islamic science gave him particular prominence amongst the Eminent Scholars of his times. Maulana Hakim Muslim did extensive research work on Islamic eschatology and wrote his famous book on Falsafah-e-Barzakh i.e. "Alam-e-Barzakh me Halchal".
Allama Amjad Jauhari's brothers Allama Asad Jauhari, Allama Riaz Jauhari and sister Mohtarma Husna Jauhari are also famous Religious Scholars and Public Speakers.
He is the 9th consecutive generation of his family who is connected with and spreading the Teachings of Muhammad-o-Ahl al-Bayt-e-Muhammad in the society.
Allama Amjad Jauhari did initial schooling in Karachi Pakistan and later went to Iran for getting Religious Education. The details are given below.
He got his basic education from Fountain Head Grammar School Karachi. After that in 1995 he went to Mashhad Iran and joined Hawza ilmia Mashhad, Madrasah Ayatollah-al-ozma Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei where he got education from extinguished and eminent Teachers, notably Ayatollah Hujjat Hashmi Khorasani, Ayatollah Bakhtiyari, Hujjat ul Islam wal Muslimeen Sheikh Ghulam Raza Muhibbii and Ayatollah Syed Ali Jauhari from whome he learned Fiqh o Usul, Falsafa o Mantiq and Arabic. He graduated from that Hawza ilmia in 2000.
In 2000 he joined Hawza ilmia Mashhad, Madrasah Ilmia Imam Raza a.s, Madrasah -e- Ayatollah-al-ozma Mohammad Hussaini Shirazi. There he studies for 5 years under the supervision of Ayatollah-al-ozma Sadeq Shirazi. He graduated from that Hawza ilmia in 2005.

He is famous for delivering speeches on Islamic themes particularly with the reference of Muhammad-o-Ahl al-Bayt-e-Muhammad (s.a.w.w). He is proficient in many branches of Islamic sciences such as Tafseer, Hadith, Ilm al-Kalam, Falsafah, Mantiq, Islamic Philosophy and Islamic History. Since after returning from Iran he remains busy in spreading the message and teachings of Muhammad-o-Ahl al-Bayt-e-Muhammad by addressing Majalis-e-Aza all over in Pakistan and in abroad.
Many Television Channels telecast his Majalis live from different Imambargahs in Lahore during the month of Muharram. During Muharram he addresses Majalis-e-Aza in "Azakhana Qasr-e-Batool" Sanda Road Karishan Nagar lhr, Imambargah "Bab-ul-Ilm Nishat Colony lhr" and many other Imambargahs in Lahore and in other parts of the Country.
